HPC and more recently AI in particular get a lot of flak, and justifiably so, for the quantity of resources they consume. So, we’re doing our little bit to make up for it by making sure we ensure our existing resources have a long useful life.

Extending the life of rather old Macbooks by using them for Scratch club 😊 

Before anyone worries about insecure operating systems, not only do my kids get to learn to code using great Apple hardware, it’s also running Linux Mint! Ah the perils of having a geeky dad 🤣
