Avoid dust bunnies and allergies. Use the cloud!
We’re a bit unusual at HMx Labs in that we choose to run our own hardware on our own premises. While there’s still an outside chance this may turn out to be a brilliant strategic move (given global geopolitical tensions) in the mean time, it means we have to deal with dust bunnies and re-racking machines to make space. Which I started on yesterday… Heads up, we might have some downtime on hmxlabs.io and cloudhpc.news over the Easter weekend.

The HPC Market is set to be worth $100B by 2028… oh but only if you roll AI and Quantum into that too. Seems like HPC is firmly sat on the tails of AI at this point and won’t be dislodged till AI falls off its pedestal.

Intel’s new CEO is asking for feedback. If your HPC estate relies on Intel now might be a good time to have a chat to your friendly rep and start asking for what you need next
