Today’s edition of weekly HPC news come to you from Geneva (well near Geneva anyway) via Paris for a quick catchup with the French HPC contingent. I’ll be testing my ability to work remotely over the next few weeks, or perhaps I should say that my wife will be testing my ability to continue to work even from remote locations as she plans excursions that in forests and caves so that even Starlink won’t keep me connected 😆. Some disruption to normal service may occur.

In the meantime, though here’s your usual weekly roundup of HPC news… oh and a picture the view from HMx Labs On Wheels over the weekend 😄

Updates to AWS, Azure & GCP in the last week relevant for HPC practitioners. Couple of nice updates to AWS Parallel Computing Service and a bunch of instances types in new regions and confidential computing on Azure.
