We’re Hiring: HPC Engineer

It doesn’t happen very often, and even more rarely that I don’t just hire someone without ever advertising the vacancy… but we’re hiring 🥳🎉

Of course I have an imaginary ideal candidate in mind that is probably rarer than gold hen’s teeth and about as realistic as hiring an actual speaking, typing unicorn but here goes anyway:

• Financial services background with experience of financial risk systems
• Familiar with multiple HPC schedulers but must know IBM Symphony
• Experience with running HPC in the cloud. Preferably more than one.
• Polyglot (programming not natural language but both is even better)
• Willing to tolerate reporting directly to me 😀

One catch though. You must have either worked with me in the past or have worked with someone who has worked with me and is willing to vouch for you.
