Not Just CrowdStrike
It might be time to see what failings in your own organisation CrowdStrike just highlighted for you.
There has been a lot of chatter about what CrowdStrike did wrong, what they could have done differently, what should have been done better. That’s fair.
What I haven’t seen is what CrowdStrike’s customers did wrong.
You spend millions over years to build a critical system. Your teams’ engineers in failover and redundancy. You canary and stage rollouts of your own system.
Then you go and hand the keys to this castle to a third party and allow them to update all of it whenever they like?
Yea, CrowdStrike messed up. But someone else in your own org did too.
